What's up with DFBS?

New: Spanish versions
Thursday, May 2, 2013 - 15:51

You ask, we respond! Our DOT courses will soon be available in Spanish. With high quality translations using a system by LingoTek that works with our Drupal learning content management system. Pretty high tech for a little eLearning company. Nothing but the best for you.

FMCSA, FAA DER courses are here!
Friday, December 9, 2011 - 11:06

DFBS now offers comprehensive training for FMCSA and FAA designated employer representatives (DERs). The training includes three programs. The Basic program gives DER's a solid grounding in DOT testing policies and rules, drug and alcohol testing, and reasonable suspicion testing.

The Advanced program goes in-depth on abused substances, including alcohol and the 5-panel drugs. Then the Mastery program takes a close look at other FMCSA testing situations, the return-to-duty process, and how to handle problems that can occur in alcohol and drug testing.

FMCSA DER training is available in both online and CD-ROM formats.

FAA courses now available
Thursday, November 10, 2011 - 01:00

DFBS is pleased to announce we have added FAA drug and alcohol courses for supervisors and employees to our catalog. Like our FMCSA programs, FAA supervisor training is available in Basic and Advanced versions. The Basic program is for supervisors whose testing program responsibility is limited to reasonable suspicion testing, recognizing and responding to indicators of workplace substance use. It's also a perfect option for FAA supervisor recurrent training.

The Advanced program includes the same content as the Basic program, but also provides more thorough training on the DOT drug and alcohol testing process, and other FAA testing situations, such as post-accident testing.

New Basic and Advanced FMCSA supervisor training
Friday, September 9, 2011 - 11:10

Now available: Basic and Advanced training programs for FMCSA supervisors.

Now you have two options for training FMCSA supervisors. The Basic program provides traditional supervisor training, focusing on the problem of workplace substance abuse, roles and responsibilities, testing program components, and reasonable suspicion testing.
The Advanced program is for supervisors who have broader testing program responsibilities, such as handling post-accident, random, and other testing situations. Or providing in-depth, accurate information to employees about FMCSA policy requirements, violations and consequences, and drug and alcohol testing procedures.
