A flight attendant asks, "Will I be tested after an accident?" This course covers DOT FAA pre-employment, post-accident, and random testing.

Learning objectives

Learners who complete this course will be prepared to:

  1. Determine when DOT pre-employment testing is required and gather required information from previous employers
  2. Explain what constitutes an accident under FAA rules, when and whom to test following an accident, post-accident testing procedures, and employees' responsibilities.
  3. Describe the nature of random testing and DOT random testing procedures, and initiate random testing under FAA rules
