This DOT course provides important facts about three of the DOT 5-panel drugs: amphetamines, including methamphetamine and ecstasy; opiates, including heroin and prescription narcotics; and PCP.

Learning objectives

Learners who complete this course will be prepared to:

  1. Provide facts about amphetamines, including methamphetamine and ecstasy, including their physical and psychological effects, acute and chronic health and safety risks, workplace impact, and signs of current use
  2. Provide similar facts about opiates, including heroin and prescription narcotics, whose abuse has recently escalated
  3. Provide similar facts about Phencyclidine, or PCP
