Each drug-free workplace (DFWP) training program includes two or more courses, assembled for a specific training purpose. Individual courses are built around learning objectives for a particular audience.

CAFJ-07: Amphetamines

This drug-free workplace (DFWP) course focuses on amphetamines, including methamphetamine and ecstasy.

Learning objectives

Learners who complete this course will be prepared to:

  1. Provide facts about amphetamine-type stimulants (ATS) and their use
  2. Discuss the physical and psychological effects, and short- and long-term health and safety risks, of ecstasy and meth
  3. Discuss the impact of ATS in the workplace
  4. Recognize the signs of current ATS use
  5. Provide basic information about treatment for ATS abuse and dependence
