Each drug-free workplace (DFWP) training program includes two or more courses, assembled for a specific training purpose. Individual courses are built around learning objectives for a particular audience.

CASN-07: Resolving Work Performance Problems

This course provides supervisors a step-by-step process to resolve work performance problems in a drug-free environment.

Learning objectives

Learners who complete this course will be prepared to:

  1. Observe and identify workplace problems
  2. Respond to urgent problems, including medical issues and reasonable suspicion of substance of drug or alcohol use
  3. Resolve routine problems, including: assessing, documenting, evaluating the problem; confronting an employee; and taking corrective action and following up.
