PAE1-03: Controlling Risky Drugs

This course provides up-to-date and accurate information about commonly abused drugs in three categories: "uppers," or stimulants; "downers," including depressants and sedatives; and "all-arounders," drugs with mixed effects, such as cannabinoids and hallucinogens. It also describes why and how the federal government controls risky substances, including the 5-panel drugs. And it deals with prescription and over-the-counter drug misuse.

Audience

This program will benefit employees who:

  • Have a basic understanding of drug-free workplace programs, AND
  • Are interested in sound decisions about drug use for themselves, co-workers, or family members
