PAE1-06: Marijuana, an In-Depth Look

This program gives employees a close look at marijuana, the most common drug of abuse in workplaces and communities. Today's marijuana is potent, addictive and illegal. Employees learn about its: prevalence, potency and intoxicating effects; acute health and safety risks, including cognitive, cardiovascular, trauma, and drug combination risks; long-term risks, including dependence, and drug progression risks; and treatment for marijuana abuse and dependence. Employees can assess their own use with the CAGE tool.


This program will benefit employees who:

  • Are subject to workplace testing for marijuana
  • Would like to learn more about the effects, risks, abuse, impact and treatment for marijuana
