Georgia offers an annual workers' compensation premium discount of 7.5 percent to employers who establish and maintain a certified drug-free workplace.

PBPB-01: Administering a Georgia DFWP

Instruction: Program
Authority: DFWP/GA
Audience: Administrator
Level: Basic

Georgia-certified employers must appoint a program administrator for their drug-free workplace (DFWP) program. The program administrator (PA) manages the DFWP program for the employer. The PA is often viewed as the DFWP expert in the organization.

Program administrator training is not required for certification. But your PA is likely to feel more competent and confident with some solid training.

This program is for program administrators in Georgia-certified drug-free workplaces.
