We offer two training programs for trucking companies. One for supervisors. And another for drivers.
We offer three training programs for aviation companies. One for supervisors who have never taken training. One for supervisors who have. Another for employees.
We offer two USCG-specific training programs. One for supervisors and another for employees.
If we don’t have an agency-specific training program for you, our general DOT training programs will likely do the trick. Choose from one supervisor and one employee program.
The general rule is that all supervisors must undergo 2 hours of training. This two hours is to include 60 minutes of drug and alcohol training and 60 minutes of reasonable suspicion training. All of our DOT supervisor training programs meet this requirement.
The specific training requirements differ depending on the overseeing agency (i.e. FMCSA, FAA, USCG, PHMSA, and FTA). Some only require supervisors to take training one time, like the FMCSA. Others, like the FAA, require supervisors to take recurrent training every 12-18 months.

Yes, it is. For DOT-regulated companies, supervisors must take the above-mentioned two hours of training: 60 minutes on drugs and alcohol and another 60 on reasonable suspicion testing.
Because the workplace for transportation companies extends into the public sphere, the federal government regulates them. Supervisors need this training to ensure that the employees they oversee don’t perform safety-sensitive functions while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. They are the last line of defense for public safety.
Our training is designed to make sure supervisors take in the information they need to make sound reasonable suspicion testing decisions. We’re not only drug and alcohol experts, but also training design experts.
Our DOT supervisor training and employee education programs are taken online. Immediately after purchasing the training, you can enroll your supervisors and employees through our website. Supervisors and employees then receive login credentials. And with those credentials, they can login and begin learning. Drug-Free Business Solutions helps you and your company meet DOT training requirements with ease.
Also, we have instructor-led and in-person options available for some of our programs. Reach out to us for a quote if you are interested in those.
Yes, absolutely! Upon completion, we provide DOT supervisor training certificates to all supervisors. We also provide DOT employee education certificates to all employees who finish the training.
Certificates are available for download for both the learner and the group leader as soon as they complete the training.
Yes. Once you enroll your company in the training, you will have access to a Group Management page. On this page, you have access to each of your supervisors’ and employees’ progress. You will also have access to training certificates here.
And you will be able to add more seats in your group from this page as well. You can even send email reminders to those stragglers who haven’t started or finished yet.
As a matter of fact, we do. Check out our Volume Price Discounts page for more info on that.
